Mrs. Tamara Roth
Tamara (Tammy) Roth has been working in the education industry for many years, across all three sectors (Catholic, Independent and department). Previous leadership roles include Deputy Principal, Head of Department and Senior Education Officer.
Tammy held the position of Head of Department at a large Queensland school, overseeing 11 staff and around 300 students. From this position she moved onto a leadership role in a school located in the Northern Territory.
Tammy then moved into the role of Senior Education Officer at the Queensland Studies Authority (now known as Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority), where she worked in the Student Achievement Division for over 5 years. Amongst other duties she developed curriculum and syllabuses, worked on moderation procedures, and provided support to schools across Queensland. For the last 4 years she also coordinated the annual QSA conference which attracts over 2000 educators from around the nation. In addition she successfully runs a small business creating classroom resources.
While working in North Queensland, Tammy undertook the role of Acting Deputy Principal at a residential and day Catholic College. She worked with staff and students both academically and pastorally – including data analysis and curriculum advice.
Her entire career has been dedicated to providing students with opportunities to achieve their best and guiding staff to support this achievement.
